HOW DO I RESET A USER’S PASSWORD?

The user’s password is located on the User Maintenance screen which can be accessed under the ADMIN icon and then selecting the User link.  Once on the User Maintenance screen, locate the individual by entering the Emp Number or Employee Name and clicking the Search button at the bottom of the screen.  These search boxes may have different labels thanks to aliasing, but will be the 3 boxes in the lighter gray box located in upper left of the User Maintenance screen.

Once the User has been located, follow these steps to change the password:

  • Find the Password section (center right).
  • Click the Reset button.
  • A pop-up will appear asking you to confirm you want to reset the user’s password.  Click OK.
  • A pop-up will appear to inform you a password link has been sent to the user.  Click OK to dismiss the message.

The user will then receive an email with a link that will take them to the password setup screen where they can change their password, meeting your set parameters.  This helps keep the password private and secure.
