To do this, you will need to clear the device’s Flash and RAM before initializing the clock. In order to do this, the clock will have to be placed in Setup Mode. To place the clock in Setup Mode, toggle the black switch on the back of the clock to the left.

Once the clock loads to the main terminal for Setup, you will need to navigate to the right on the menu until “Maint” is highlighted. Next, press the “Tab” button to cycle the options on the screen and then highlight the Clear Ram option and press “Sel.” Go ahead and proceed when you are given the warning that the data will be erased. You will repeat the same steps for Clear Flash and when complete, an initialization can be done from VTI.
