IntelliTime can be configured to automatically insert lunch punches, but sometimes these punches may not be created. The most common instigator of this behavior is a missed punch. When punches are received out sequence, the automatic punches for lunch will not be created and should be inserted manually when fixing the timecard.

Additional situations which will prevent an auto-lunch from being created are:

• The user’s start punch must occur before his schedule lunch break
• The user’s stop punch must come after his scheduled lunch break
• The stop punch that triggers the auto-lunch deduction must be the last punch in the system for the user
