How to Hide the Chat Button When My Team are Offline

Comm100 Live Chat comes with high customization, which allows you to create a live chat experience resounding with your own branding. If you are not providing 24/7 service, you can hide the chat button on your website when none of your agents are online.


Step by Step Instructions

To hide your chat button when your team are offline, complete the following settings:

  1. Log in to your Comm100 Control Panel.
  2. Navigate to Live Chat > Campaign > Chat button.
    Note:  If you are using multiple campaigns, select your campaign from the drop-down list.

  3. Expand the Advanced menu and select the Hide chat button when my team is offline check box.

    Note: To have the Hide chat button when my team is offline feature, you need to get your Live Chat code with JavaScript. This feature is available since Comm100 Live Chat v 5.0. If you copied your live chat code from a previous version, paste the code of the latest version on Comm100 Live Chat to enable this feature.
  4. Click Save.
