How Can I Track Visitors’ Footprint on My Website

On the Comm100 Agent Console, you can track the URLs of webpages that visitors have visited on your website. With Comm100 Live Chat, the footprint is recorded in real-time, and you can view the total duration of a visit and the minutes that a visitor has stayed on each webpage.

Note: 
  • Comm100 Live Chat allows you to monitor on-site visitors from a wide range of perspectives. To get a full picture, see this article.
  • Only the footprints on the website where the Live Chat code has been planted can be recorded and displayed on the Agent Console.

Step by Step Instructions

To track a visitor's navigation history on your website, follow these steps:

  1. On the Comm100 Agent Console, go to the Visitors tab.
  2. Locate the target visitor you want to track, and click the Details link.
  3. Click the Navigation tab. The visitor's footprint on your website is listed in chronological order.
