How to Enable JavaScript in a Web Browser

Enabling JavaScript is required for some of the Comm100 features to work. The following are specific instructions on enabling JavaScript in your browser. If your browser isn’t listed, Comm100 suggest you consult its help resources.

Note:  Upgrading your browser or installing new security software or security patches may affect your JavaScript settings.

Google Chrome

  1. Click the wrench icon to the right of the address bar. If you are using a Mac, select the Chrome menu item from the Apple/System bar at the top of the screen.
  2. Select Settings from the dropdown list. If you are using a Mac, please select Preferences and then select Settings.
  3. Scroll down the page and click Show Advanced Settings at the bottom of the page.
  4. Click Content Settings under Privacy.
  5. Select Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended)under the JavaScript

Internet Explorer 6.0 

  1. Click Tools.
  2. Select Internet Options.
  3. Click Security.
  4. Click Custom Level.
  5. Scroll down until you see Scripting.
  6. Select Enable under Active Scripting.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Click Yes in the pop-up confirmation window.

Firefox 3.6 

  1. Click Tools
  2. Select Options.
  3. Click Content.
  4. Select the ‘Enable JavaScript’ checkbox.
  5. Click OK.

Safari

  1. Click Safari.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Click Security.
  4. Select the Enable JavaScript checkbox.
