How to Display Agents' Title and Bio

Comm100 allows you to add your agents’ Title and Bio information and show them to your visitors in the Chat Window. It provides a quick overview of agents’ job responsibilities, level of job, experience, or expertise, and more, which helps deliver a better customer experience when they are chatting with your agents.

 To show agents' title and bio in the chat window, you need to complete the following settings:

  • Input agents' title and bio description;
  • Enable Agent bio and Agent title in the chat window settings.

Input Agents' Title and Bio

To input agents' title and bio information, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the Comm100 Control Panel.
  2. From the left navigation menu, go to Global Settings > People > Agents.

  3. Click to edit the agent in the list.

  4. On the Edit Agent page, expand the More Information menu and fill in the Title and Bio information.

  5. Click Save.

Enable Agent Bio and Agent Title 

To enable agent bio and agent title in the chat window, , follow these steps:

  1. On the Comm100 Control Panel, navigate to Live Chat > Campaign > Chat Window
  2. Choose a chat window style. You need to choose the first or second style which includes a header.

    Note: Agent info shows in the header of the chat window. Therefore, to show agents' bio and title, you need to choose a style with a header.
  3. Go to Header and select the Agent title and Agent bio checkboxes under the Agent Info setting.

  4. Click Save.
     After a chat starts, the agent’s title and bio info shows to your visitors in the chat window.
